LECTURE - GARDEN PLANTS FROM THE MEDITERRANEAN

7344s.jpg (19216 bytes)Cistus ladanifer

"Climatologists are telling us that 'Global Warming' will change the climate throughout the world, with many temperate regions experiencing wetter and windier late Autumns and Winters than before, and hotter drier Springs and Summers, similar to those of the South of France. Gardeners in the sheltered districts of the South and West of the UK already grow many Mediterranean plants in their gardens, but the range of  plants from the Mediterranean which will thrive in many UK gardens is likely to increase considerably in the near future."
